55 Days to Go
Why is it that when I start posting what I eat, it's easier to stick to a plan? Why do I feel obligated by this blog, rather than obligated to myself and my own health? Is embarrassment of putting what I consume here what motivates me, rather than looking better and feeling better?
By the way, I hopped (yes hopped) on the scale this morning and I only have six more pounds to lose to get back to where I was four months ago...then eleven more to my Vegas goal!
12:56 Edit: A vendor brought in Panera Bread today for lunch. I thought I would be okay if I only had 1/2 sandwich and declined the (awesome looking) cookies and potato chips, my only side dish was a Diet Pepsi. I looked up the nutrition facts online, and holy crap...I should have politely said "no thank you".

Don't be alarmed by this number, my experience with dieting or changing my eating habits always offers the same results; I lose the first 10-15 pounds VERY quickly and then slow to a more reasonable 3 pounds a week.

In 76 days I will be boarding a plane to Las Vegas.
I will weigh no more than 180 pounds.
I will walk in the City of Lights and not be short of breath.
I will wear clothes that do not restrict my ability to breathe or mark my skin.
I will feel light and healthy and happy.
I will look forward to time with friends, not time with food.
I am a priority.
